Maximize your earnings and craft content inspired by New York Fashion Week 

Fashion darlings are heading to New York for the start of New York Fashion Week (NYFW), running from September 9-14, 2022. This semi-annual fashion experience will feature dozens of American Spring 2023 collections and the most notable tastemakers will be in attendance.

So how do you as an influencer, content creator and style guide lean into this major fashion event while on the ground? And what should you do if you aren’t attending?  Don’t stress! We put together a list of ways you can make the most of NYFW: 

  • Roundup your go-to looks and products that are fashion week-worthy. If you’re an LTK Creator, curate a NYFW Collection on your LTK Shop, a creator’s personal digital storefront. 

  • Get organized and creative by sharing either your NYFW packing guide OR an outfit you would wear to your fave show of the day. For example, if Proenza Schoueler is opening NYFW on September 9, put together an OOTD inspired by Proenza Schoueler to post on that day.

  • Put your own spin on a trend by creating a “look for less” video inspired by a designer look. You can reuse the video across social media channels and post it to your LTK Shop.

  • Tap into other verticals, such as beauty and home by sharing products that lean into spring trends you’re seeing on the runway. Fashion inspires beauty trends, home decor trends and more. Share your favorite furniture pieces that evoke a specific spring trend or create a makeup or hairstyle tutorial inspired by what you are seeing on the runway. 
  • If you are an influencer who’s attending NYFW, why not create some video content. Craft a “day in the life” at NYFW or a “get ready with me” video–you can share your outfit of the day or a beauty tutorial.

  • Create a “what’s in my bag” video or flat lay image. This is content that can be crafted in advance and shared to social media channels and LTK Creators can post the featured products to their LTK Shop.
