LTK Claims London’s High-Street, Taking Over Abandoned Storefronts with Virtual Creator Shops

Written by Team LTK | Oct 28, 2021 6:50:09 PM
From October 21 - 24, LTK revived London’s abandoned high street with an interactive installation of virtual flagship shops featuring Britain’s most popular creators. The concept store called LTK Creator Shops served as a one-of-a-kind hybrid shopping experience to literally showcase the shift in the retail paradigm in which creator-guided online shopping is replacing traditional retail.

“Creator-guided shopping is the future of retail. Rather than simply displaying product images in grids and allowing shoppers to search and sort thousands of products, LTK Creators uniquely offer a focused experience for shoppers who are in the mindset to shop. They have quite literally expanded to become the curators of shopping on the internet, with their LTK Shop serving as the best, most comprehensive destination for shopping their favorite items across every category.”
The four-day installation on Oxford Street featured seven local creators, each with a dedicated window storefront featuring curated looks from their LTK Shops made instantly shoppable via QR Codes that took  shoppers directly into the LTK app.

On the event concept, LTK Creator Nadia Anya said, “I love that this brings LTK to the forefront of people’s minds and teaches them that this is the new way to shop. People who don’t know about LTK can just scan my pic and within seconds see it’s a shop someone has put together specifically for them to shop.”

LTK Creators featured in the activation include Nadia Anya, Estare, The Fashion Bug Blog, Lily Melrose, Josephine’s Looks, Sophie Milner and Anisa Sojka. The four-day activation included two panel events featuring some of the most influential voices in influencer marketing and creator commerce.

Introducing LTK Creator Shops: The New Way to Shop

Creator Commerce & The Future of Retail

In a panel event hosted by Robin Ward, LTK Head of Sales - Europe, top UK creators Mollie Campsie, Louisa Hatt, Josie LDN and Head of Brand Marketing for Missguided, Vicky James, shared how creators are leading the way in digital marketing. The insightful discussion covered best practices for brand x influencer relationships and how to maximise ROI through sales-focused, long-term and hands-on creator partnerships.

“Over the last decade, LTK has been a pioneer of and driving force behind Creator Commerce, enabling creator-guided shopping for millions of people who will purchase roughly $3 billion worth of products through the platform just this year. The LTK platform offers a focused and elegant creator-guided shopping experience for those who come to shop, and a new distribution point for brands to engage with high-intent shoppers. We are thrilled to have launched this interactive shopping experience in London and to have brought LTK to life in such an iconic location. Stay tuned for where LTK is visiting next!”
