Nsale Hub Updates as of 7/20/22
We are very pleased to share an update from the Nordstrom team regarding the technical issue that caused inflated commission earnings during Early Access; Nordstrom has decided to honor the existing commissions LTK creators have earned during Nordstrom Anniversary. This means the commissions generated from Early Access sales (7/6 - 7/14) will remain at the 7% net commission rate versus the intended 3.5% net rate. Sales driven during the Public Access (7/15-7/31) will remain at the 5.6% net commission rate. Nordstrom sends their gratitude for your partnership in helping make the 2022 Nordstrom Anniversary Event a success. 7-day cookie window still applies. In addition to clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories, the sale includes jewelry, cosmetics, fragrances, home goods, and more. All the things!
Finish strong! Public Access is July 15–31
During the last two weeks of the sale when EVERYONE has access, monitor in-stock levels of the items you share to your LTK Shop. Keep your followers updated on what’s in stock, and update your LTK Shop with last-minute finds. And don’t forget to share your links to LTK and specific products on your favorite social channels.

New this year: tell your followers to favorite their Nordstrom picks in the LTK app and shop from their Favorites list in the LTK app when the sale begins. Shoppers must make a purchase within 7 days of clicking on your LTK links in order for you to earn the commission, so make sure your followers know to go to the LTK app before they buy.

5 tips for earning more
- Update your LTK Shop Profile. Include your size and height information, plus a description of your personal style to engage shoppers and let them know what to expect from your LTK Shop.
- Increase your daily posting cadence. Attract new shoppers to your LTK Shop before the sale to increase your follower count and conversion potential.
- Include #NSale in your post captions. Using this hashtag ensures your posts will appear in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Discover bubble in the LTK shopping app, and allow new shoppers to find your posts.
- Create Collections. Collections get more views and drive more conversions than non-Collection posts. Create Collections to make it easy for shoppers to find all of your NSale picks.
- Tell your followers to favorite. Make sure your followers tap the heart icon to favorite sale picks on your LTK Shop. This allows them to find and buy their favorite products ASAP when their sale tier opens.
Key Dates + Tiers
Prep your Shop (June 3–29) – start posting!
Start posting to your LTK Shop NOW to build buzz and excitement for the Anniversary Sale with your followers. You won’t know for sure what items are included in the sale until the Sale Preview starts on June 29, but you can start by posting your favorite pieces from Nordstrom and top sellers from the sale last year (see below!). Tell your followers to favorite their picks in the LTK app so they can easily shop from their Favorites tab when their sale tier is live. You should also use this time to update your LTK Shop, check your LTK Analytics, gather feedback from your followers, and strategize—download the checklist below for more on how to prepare!
Sale Preview (starts June 29) – keep posting!
Starting June 29, Nordstrom is giving everyone a sneak peek at sale items! Check out the preview to verify what items are on sale, and continue sharing your picks with your followers and encouraging them to favorite items in the LTK app. Remind them that items sell FAST, and shopping from their Favorites tab in the LTK app is the best way to keep track of the items they want to buy and purchase popular items before they sell out.
Early Access (July 6–14) – ramp up posting!
Ramp up your posting frequency starting July 6 when Nordstrom cardholders have access to start shopping! The date that Nordstrom cardholders get to start shopping is determined by status level (Icon, Ambassador, or Influencer), which is set by annual purchase amount. Let your followers know that if they want to shop Early Access and score the best deals before Public Access, they can apply for a Nordstrom Credit Card.
