LTK Creators can perfect their business strategy with real-time data and insights
The greatest resource an LTK Creator has—aside from their fabulous taste and sense of style—is their LTK analytics dashboard. As a creator, you have the power to see and strategize your content right at your fingertips. This dashboard (nested underneath creator.shopltk.com’s Insights tab) provides unique insight into what your audience engages with, and, ultimately, what converts into earnings for you. Creators can use this incredibly powerful resource to formulate their business strategy.
Your LTK Analytics dashboard provides a comprehensive deep dive into performance over time, taking into account conversion rate, returns, etc. This dashboard is updated every evening, which is why you can sometimes see a difference in analytics between the app and LTK.com. Clicks, however, are updated every 90 minutes. On this dashboard, you're also able to view performance by platforms, such as blogs, social media or LTK.
Get the brand rundown
To get a more clear idea of exactly which brands and retailers speak to your audience the most, edit your analytics time frame to the last three months and select ‘Advertisers’ in the Top Performers table at the bottom of the dashboard.
If the majority of your sales are coming from one or two brands, consider a few other brands with similar products and price points to introduce your audience to—they will appreciate the recommendations! Plus, brands’ commission rates are always subject to change, so having more go-to brands helps, especially if their commission rates are higher.

Dive into product performance
While you have your analytics timeframe set to the last three months, select ‘Active Links’ from the Performers dropdown to see a performance dashboard of specific product links. Then order them by ‘Commission’ to quickly see the exact product links that led to the most sales with your audience. To deep dive even further, order the list of products by ‘Clicks’ to see which links had the highest engagement.
If clicks on a certain product link were high, but the total commission earned was low, this could indicate that something like the price point, product quality, fit, or even location (i.e. shipping costs) didn’t appeal to your audience’s shopping preferences.
Pro Tip: We recommend digging deeper to determine whether this is a common occurrence with the retailer or an isolated incident. If you consistently notice high engagement and low earnings for a particular brand, it could mean your audience is dissatisfied with the quality of the brand’s products or customer service. Take this into account when planning your future content and linking strategy.

- If a specific product drove a high volume of sales when you featured it on LTK, consider incorporating that item into more of your LTK posts whenever you can.
- Update your website’s Boutique widgets and introduce Lookbook widgets within blog posts to draw more attention to your key converting items.
- Consider regularly publishing a product roundup that highlights your standout pieces from your top converting retailers.
- When an item is really popular and sells out, advise your audience to enable their push notifications and favorite the product so they know when it’s back in stock.
