1. Grow your Shop's following
Shoppers' search results are unique to each Shopper and their preferences. This means that when a Shopper uses the LTK shopping app's search function to look for a product, brand, or trend, her search results are ranked to show Creators she follows and the types of content she engages with most. Personalized search drives more activity, ultimately benefiting you as a Creator when you promote your LTK Shop and post consistently. 3. Tag the most relevant products first
The LTK app’s search feature looks for content with products and brands tagged that match what Shoppers are searching for. If you’re optimizing your post for discoverability by shoppers looking for dining room furniture, tag the products labeled “dining room chairs” and “dining room table” first. Bonus if your product names also include the words “dining room!”
Use the LTK Creator App's Exact vs Similar product tagging tool to be transparent with Shoppers. Tag the exact products when possible, but also provide alternatives tagged as similar products so Shoppers can view and buy different options. We recommended 2-8 products tagged per post.
4. Craft an optimized caption
Always add a short, punchy caption. Posts with a caption performs 15x better than a post without a caption, and captions with 25-50 characters perform better than posts with long captions.
Be precise in your descriptions of the products you are selling. If you're wearing a black dress, make sure you call out “black dress” and talk about how the dress fits. Update your LTK Shop to include a little bit about yourself in your bio! Include your sizing info, and any other important details Shoppers would want to know when shopping your content.
